He has practiced dentistry since 2002 and moved to Dryden in 2009. After associating for 10 years, Dr. Baldwin opened his dental practice on King Street in August 2012. During his time off, he enjoys fishing, four-wheeling, and taking care of his beloved pets.

Dr. Mike Gerstner

Dr. Mike Gerstner

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, I relocated to Fort Frances in 1991. Accustomed to lake living near Gimli, MB, I immediately felt at home in Northwestern Ontario and laid down roots here. I am a proud father of two teenage children currently living in Fort Frances. I was continually active in sports by either participating or spending many memorable seasons coaching my kids in both Northwestern Ontario and Minnesota.

Fishing, golfing, and camping have taken me to many beautiful areas in the North, but I now focus my attention on experiencing the fabulous lakes and courses in the Dryden area. I received my B.A. Advanced (Psychology) in 1984 at the University of Manitoba. During my Pre-Masters year, I enjoyed working in the Psych. Research Department. I completed my studies while working as a residential counselor, as well as doing volunteer work as a Crisis Counselor in Winnipeg. Upon the completion of my Science program at the University of Winnipeg, I graduated in 1991 from the University of Manitoba Dental School, receiving the highest standing in my class.

I spent the next 25 years caring for my patients in the Fort Frances area as a partner at the Fort Frances Dental and Emo Dental Centres. In 2019, my personal life led me to Dryden and I feel fortunate for my tremendous new career opportunity with Dr. Chris Baldwin. I certainly enjoy developing relationships, taking pride in myself for being a good listener and providing a comfortable experience for my patients.

Peggy Maggrah

Office Manager

I continue to have a fulfilling career in the dental field. I graduated from the Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene Programs at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario. In 2014, I received a certificate in recognition of 25 years of continuous membership in the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association. Recently, I also received from the Canadian Dental Hygiene Association my 25-year recognition certificate and silver commemorative pin.

I had the unique experience of helping Dr. Baldwin to set up his first dental practice, known as King Street Family Dental. This experience included the positions of Dr. Baldwin’s first employed dental hygienist and office manager.

I am a native of Northwestern Ontario, as I was born and raised in Red Lake and have lived in Kenora, Thunder Bay and in Dryden since 2000. I have celebrated my 30th+ wedding anniversary and have two adult children plus a dog. I look forward to continuing to work with Dr. Baldwin and the King Street Family Dental team.

I worked temporarily as a float assistant and enjoyed learning different areas of the Dental field, but I am very pleased to have joined the King Street Family Dental team as a part-time Dental Hygienist in December 2016.

Debbie Foster

Debbie joined our team as a part time Dental Assistant in 2018. We appreciate her happy disposition and vast dental experience that she brings to our team. Debbie has over 10 years of Dental Assisting experience working with various Dentists over the years. Debbie grew up in Hudson, near Sioux Lookout. Debbie has 3 children who keep her busy. When she is not working, usually you can find her with at least one of her children doing some activity together. She loves the north and embraces the challenges that living in a smaller community brings.

Hailey Northcott

Hailey Northcott

Dental Hygienist

I was born and raised in Dryden Ontario but moved to North Bay for three years of college to complete my dental hygiene diploma. After graduating I moved back home to pursue my career in dental hygiene. I began my career working at Dryden Dental Clinic and gained five years of experience. I enjoyed seeing patients regularly, building relationships, treating oral disease, and promoting oral health. I am excited to put my skills to work at King Street Family Dental where I can continue to educate clients and help them reach their oral health goals. I also work as a Dental Assistant when the business requires me to.

When I'm not at work I enjoy snowboarding, walking my Boxer, fishing, going to church, health and fitness, and spending time with my family, which recently grew when I had my son Caleb in June 2018.

I am very excited to be part of the team here at King Street Family dental and look forward to building professional relationships with my clients.
